Łukasz Dziekan graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science at the Warsaw University of Technology, major in Applied Computer Science. He started his professional career at Deloitte Advisory, where he was responsible for mathematical risk modeling for the biggest Polish financial institutions (2008-2010).
In 2011 he worked for Deloitte in New York Office where he managed American Express in the area of credit risk. Then he joined the company ZocDoc - the world's largest marketplace in the field of health care, a "unicorn" in the terminology of startup companies.
In 2013-2016 he was associated with the PwC Advisory company, where he built a consulting team of over 50 people dealing with advanced data analytics and machine learning. He was a pioneer in the implementation of such models in the retail and financial industries - on the Polish market. Since 2017, he has been the founder and vice president of FinAi SA - company from the fintech sector dealing with simplifying personal finances using artificial intelligence and digital solutions.
He has been a lecturer regarding artificial intelligence and machine learning during many industry conferences such as Data Science Summit, PyData, Azure Day, Infoshare and others.
