- Substrate preparation
The substrate must be dry, sound, rigid, stable and free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, release agents and loose parts. Remove coat fragile and decorticated. Carry out preparatory work - such as filling joints, evening out hollows and unevenness – using the sturdy repair LC-700. In bases raptures and place exposed to tensions use fibre glass reinforcement. Always make edge dilatation ( bond to walls polystyrene or sponge stripes). Recommended for floors with integral floor heating system
- Before application use our primers:
absorbent substrates such as cement, screeds, rapid cement screeds, concrete prime with
non-absorbent, smooth, sound substrates prime with WB-290 (undiluted).
gypsum substrates such as gypsum screeds prime with WB-290 (1:1)
magnesia screeds (not xylolite) prime with WB-280.
xylolite screeds prime with EB-270
Mix all the product with proper amount of cold and clean water until you receive homogenous substance and proper consistence. Use of a mixer with 600 rpm is recommended After 2-3 min mix it again. Pour out the ready substance on the basis. Spread with trowel. Deaerate by “needle” roller. In the case of greater layer thicknesses, contact with vertical structures should be avoided by putting in an edge strip Brakes during pouring out should not be longer then 30 min. Make dilatation gaps where construction dilatations are placed. If a second layer of levelling compound is to be applied, the first filling compound layer should be primed with WB-290 (1:1). Protect curing LC-720 levelling layers against high ambient temperatures, direct sunlight and draughts.
Electric mixer with low rotation (600rpm), stirrer, trowel, “needle” roller.
Work temp. +5oC to +25oC. Fresh substrate protect from humidity, drying up and aerations.
Do not mix with others substance.
Before cure with water. After cure only mechanically.
With subsequent laying of floor coverings, cement screeds should display residual moisture of <2.0 CM % (heating screeds <1.8 CM %) prior to filling, gypsum screeds < 0.5 CM % (heating screeds < 0.3 CM %).
Technical data are given for the temp +20 oC and humidity 60%. In different conditions the times can be changed.
Work according to the building rules, norms and low regulations.
